That's not Loretta Fuddy. On the threads at the time, everybody thought it was her at first, but it turned out there was another woman (I think her husband was on the plane, too...been so long, hard to remember all the details), who was about the same age, coloring, build, etc. I think while this woman was holding on to the wing, Fuddy was still in the plane/at the door with her co-worker staying close by her side and helping her.

That female along the wing is Marilyn Briley. Her husband said she was a good swimmer. In this following picture, she's sporting a clandestine, antenna-equipped life jacket on behalf of the staged crash planners:

Note how she dutifully keeps the antenna's phallic end above the waterline. It doesn't look as though she has a life jacket from above water, but she does! Obviously, a combo life jacket electronics antenna is just ever-so-slightly out-of-place at a unforeseen accident location!
