Meghan Markle has surprised everyone by wearing a wedding dress designed by Givenchy's Clare Waight Keller after months of speculation liking her to other designers, such as Erdem. The bride-to-be stunned onlookers this morning as she stepped out of her car wearing the classic silk gown in pure white with a 15st veil embroidered with flowers of the Commonwealth, after predictions she'd chosen a heavily beaded gown. The veil is made from silk tulle with a trim of hand-embroidered flowers in silk threads and organza, while the look was completed by a Cartier bracelet and earrings and a Queen Mary diamond bandeau tiara, loaned to her by the Queen, prompting proud Prince Harry to tell his bride: 'You look amazing'.

Were both really good!
How are yall?
They have been living together for months, so no need for a honeymoon. That’s an old tradition that is totally unnecessary except for travel planners!
I read that she had one annulment and one divorce. If so, this may be her third wedding. Maybe an annulment means that no legal marriage ever took place, thus her second marriage.
Lost I hate all this flowery coverage. But, the negativity over her attire is just as bad. People, please mature abit.
That’s because you are so much more virtuous than I.
Disappointed with the comments here, it is their wedding not yours.
We are doing great. Busier than a one armed paper hanger.
Anyone with any decency wishes the royal couple well. Especially after the disaster of Charles and Diana. And by the way, nothing has been heard about Charles and Camilla since they wed. That’s a good sign and I wish them well, too.
I liked her dress far more than Dianas. The veil had a flower native to each of the more than 50 members of The Commonwealth (?) plus 2others, one the state flower of California. These had to be designed and hand-made into the veil. Somehow the high cost of the gown doesnt seem to be part of the news like we see for everything that Melania wears.
LOL
It’s so cute when luvvies pretend to be traditional.
It’s a wedding, just not a Catholic wedding.
Plus the one only true apostolic RC church misinterprets the scripture in question.
I, too, am disgusted with the comments on this thread. This morning my wife and I watched the wedding holding hands. It was a touching moment for us.
The Brits showed the world the beauty of marriage between a man and woman and how it reflects God’s most perfect creation. The words of the Most Rev Bishop Michael Curry hit a home run with my wife and I. Yes, the world could use God’s love in our hearts instead of demonic hate. There was not one peep on this thread about how this marriage ceremony revealed Britain’s deep connection with the Christian God of love.
On this count—let’s hope so!
LOL !!!
I noticed that when she bowed to her new “queen”, the cameras shot from up above and far away. Do you think she ordered that? She doesn’t want shots of her bowing to the old hag as her queen.
The Brits, the Royal ones particularly, are in NO position to be an example of marriage to anyone. The Church of England is about as Godless as a church can be and still call itself a church. SMH
I watched it to see the pomp and ceremony as only England can do it. And to see the beautiful fascinators !
Such a tasteless slap at the meaning of the color and the veil. Even Camilla knew better.
I thought her dress was really blah. A see-through corset gown by Panina Tornei is more her style.
She is the true anti-virgin bride so she dressed to appear as virginal as possible. LOL
That was the cover story. The real problem was his Nazi sympathies; he was forced to abdicate and live in exile so that he couldn't foment a popular movement for a capitulation to Hitler.
But you're right; times have changed. Today, UK welcomes its insurgent overlords.
