I’m all for legalization, but this stuff bothers me. There seems to be a push among users in legal states to allow getting high at work. High Times magazine even has articles about what strains allow you to get “mildly” high so you can use and be on the job. And there are also those who say they’re not as impaired driving as one would be while drinking.

Legalized pot should be only for use in the home. I don’t want my fellow employees or folks on the road endangering anyone’s lives — especially my own and my family’s. And being high is impaired enough to preclude either one of those activities.

One of the problems with legalizing pot is that there is no clearly defined level of “this much = impaired”, and levels can last quite a long time unlike alchohol.

I’m wondering how many people in favor of legalizing pot would also be in favor of their son or daughter in law driving their grandkids around the next day after a mellow evening.
