Indeed. Pennsylvania is the second largest energy producer after Texas and exports a lot to large cities on the east coast.
Bingo. They also are home to two full tank divisions. They have deep water ports with access to the sea. They have their own refining capacity.
Not sure if they can supply their own food enough, but probably.
They have air, and even SPACE infrastructure available to it.
If they built alliances with their border states, they could take and hold the ground they wanted pretty readily, but only to an extent.
