Agree. I believe the document Nunes and Gowdy are asking to see, may reveal how/who started the whole Russian collusion/Trump campaign myth. This is why it is not being handed over.
Question is whether it is being withheld for a white hat or black hat reason.
Some theories are that it is being slow-walked because the DS is counting on Dems retaking the House, so these investigations will be dropped/buried.
Speculation is that the phony justification is a myth perpetrated by players in the DOJ/FBI, so hiding that fact is a self-preservation function.
After all, if the public knew the government was conspiring to throw an election, the revelation has national security implications. The worse they are, the stronger the justification to keep the public in the dark.

That would be so if Hillary had been elected. Now I think delays are strategic to correspond with development of criminal cases, and rounding up as many of the players as practical.
