I do wonder, though, if the black hats won't be scouring security tapes at the Paris venue to see if they can identify the picture taker. Hopefully, he/she has already uploaded and dispersed any information gathered from the eavesdropping for future reference.
A cell phone makes a great recording device, though it also makes a great tracking device for the holder of said phone.
