Gowdy is a prosecutor but in his present position has no legal means of prosecuting. We can all empathize with his frustration (my anger) at the lies of the dems and the apathy of the RINOs.

Bob Goodlatte and Trey Gowdy are calling on Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to appoint a special counsel to review decisions made by the FBI over the past two years when the Bureau was obtaining surveillance warrants to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 election.

The request for an investigation appears to stem from allegations outlined in the memo authored by Rep. Devin Nunes, chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, earlier this year. Some people think Gowdy can prosecute from the dais in 5 minute increments, then grab a set of handcuffs and put people in jail. That is not his current job. He’s good, but people think he has more power than he can exercise. If he moved over to DoJ, bring it on! Giddy-up!
