Ever since I was a child I believed in the individual. I was taught my roll as a female.
Everyone is good at something. I truly believe that and that’s why I hate identity politics. I wish I could relate that to students today.
If you had a questionnaire about who you are, this is my prediction if results:
Young people would name race, gender, socio-economic
Many older people would name accomplishments; children, career.
My point is that it doesn’t matter what you are, it’s what you do.
