So is it possible he only graduated from high school?

Yes, it's possible; not saying that that is the answer; however, that would make more sense.

Supposedly, he got his law degree at 22. So if he graduated from high school at 15, did 4 years of college, that brings us to 19, a law degree takes 3 years...that brings us to his being 22. Ergo...those numbers add up and kids used to be skipped grades, so being 15 and graduating from high school didn't used to be unusual at all; though it is now, because skipping grades was more or less done away with quite a while back. Still and all, some private schools still do it in grammar and/or high school.
