Yes, you’ll have two kids sitting next to each other texting back and forth rather than talking and making eye contact.

Social skills are taking a nose dive.

One night when my son was about 16 or 17 (10 years ago), he said he was going out to see friends who had driven up. He didn’t return, so after about 30 minutes I ambled down the driveway to see what was going on. His friends car was sitting out there, windows rather fogged up, but there was an eerie blue glow from inside the car.

When I was a teen, fogged windows meant only one thing. But, in this case, it was the two guys in the front seat on their cell phones and the two girls in the back seat on their cell phones.

It was at that exact moment I knew that all the technologies were not helping the human race much.
