Was at the Derby in 1986, Shoemakers last win on Ferdinand. Lost over $300. Mint Julips are awfull, tried one, two sips, gave it to someone else.

I won big that day over Ferdinand. My first win was Lucky Debonair (Shoemaker jockey-). What eventually happened to Ferdinand by a Japanese owner is HORRIBLE! Owners here are still very upset! People here would have gladly bought Ferdinand back.
