I looked at the pictures and the missing buildings were not very large and to my untrained eye I do not see any huge crater that I would expect from the reports of the LARGE EARTHQUAKE level explosion. In fact the pictures show no signs of blown up building pieces, the sites look pretty clean to me like, buildings were knocked down and the sites cleaned up. I can’t imagine these pictures are of the bombings from the other night. At least not pics of the massive explosion site. But I’m just a desk jockey :)

I'm with you on the question of the pictures. Now watching the actual explosion is another matter. The soldier filming ..and he was far from the site..the ground and camera (cell) had wavy lines. It seems someone had much better pics. I've been so many places..trying to remember who had more..wait I mentioned at the time ..I better get these pics before they disappear. Thinking out loud.

Leith's site doesn't have the pictures up any more! Here they are. He even commented at the time he was going to take more of the site. Apparently he was stopped! Here are the pictures I posted at the time and said I better post before they disappear.

BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:20 P.M.) – The attack completely destroyed the Brigade 47 Base, causing a massive explosion that could be heard throughout much of the country. According to a Syrian military source, the attack was carried out by the Israeli Air Force; however, the latter has yet to comment on the allegations. The military source added that the attack was believed to have been carried out by an Israeli F-35 fighter jet, as the remnants of glide bombs were found at the site.

From the video of the explosion it looked like either a penetrator followed by huge secondary, or a penetrator followed by a fuel-air explosive. There was a lot of lofted munitions going off too, enough I was just impressed by the apparent slate cleaning of the strike in alleged after photos.
