Look, Cohen was Trump’s personal attorney.

This means Cohen may have been designated to vet all Trump’s private mail, the personal crap that comes with being Donald J. Trump, charities or whores. Cohen reads it, or takes the calls that are referred to him that concern Trump. Cohen takes care of it because he is on a RETAINER, for Trump, as his attorney.

So comes Stormy Daniels by mail or a phone referral call and she gets bounced over to Cohen. Cohen deals with Stormy, writes her a personal check and Trump is not bothered with the details.

Now applies the retainer, which means all of Cohens work, pay outs, etc., are paid by Trump on a monthly or quarterly or annual basis for whatever expenses are submitted, by Cohen. Trump accountants doubtless know to pay Cohen and don’t ask questions, but mark the debit. Trump may have never known about much of any of it.

Trump pays Cohen to take care of “crap”, Trump gets a bill sent to his accountants who pay the Cohen invoices regularly like a utility.

The Trump payment went to a bank account probably set up as fund for Cohen to work with, in his week to week, or month to month payouts on Trump’s behalf. Cohen used this account probably for everything from a list of Trump charities, or for shake down whores.

The money did not come from the Trump Org., or the Trump Campaign. Cohen was a personal business attorney for Trump, who writes his checks, essentially, a check writer.

Cohen is in trouble because he said he paid for Stormy himself. Well, he probably did, but when the scandal came to light of day, Trump made sure he was reimbursed and paid Cohen for this expense.

Not sure the White House was aware Rudy would run his big mouth, but he may be diffusing Mueller’s implicating Trump for wire fraud or some damn thing.
