Arizona Senator John McCain announces he will not be seeking reelection.

Apple News released an excerpt Monday, citing a passage from the 81-year-old’s lawmaker’s upcoming memoir.

In his statement, McCain calls on Democrats and Republicans to be good neighbors and to show up to the polls.

The senator’s announcement comes 10-months after he revealed he’s been battling brain cancer, and has been absent from the Senate while recovering from treatment.

I want to see McCain in Gitmo for all the deaths he has caused, for war crimes, sedition and treason. These people must not and should not be able to walk the streets again to be able to continue to work to destroy America! They will not stop until they are put somewhere where they can’t have any influence. They deserve a military tribunal and to pay the price for treason, whatever it is. I think that's a fair take. Plenty of "open" news and infornmation has been focused on, that otherwise would not have been focused on.

The cryptic delivery inevitably creates trips down blind alleys and a bit of irrelevant creative meandering, but that "wasted energy" hasn't seemed to affect the general direction much if at all.
