As long as there are Christians I am not going to give up, but boy howdy we have our work cut out for us. My generation is less educated than the previous and so on. People have more information available to them now than ever before but they don't know how to think critically.
I have had several conversations with people here lately. I was stunned at how many will mention that their "kids" 30-40 year olds don't know how to have a conversation. The kids just talk at them, never allowing the parent to say anything.
We are stuck working with 30-40 year olds now working on our house. They are rude and patronizing. Just really awful to deal with. Like teenagers, except I can't ground them.
I know what you mean, and yes, we can’t give up. I am encouraged by the groups of young conservatives that are standing in the face of it all. Happily, even at UC Berkeley, there are conservative students.
Grateful to hear that Common Core may be leaving K-12. Hope and Faith. Parents must be alert to what is being taught and how their children are being influenced.

The sheer volume of information makes it easier to buffalo the masses, and if not that, simply wear them down, tire them out, or otherwise discourage them from seeking the truth.
Be concerned what the snowflakes who have risen to the top of the education system put in place next. Time for all concervatives to get involved. Not just on school board but volunteer to be on state and local text book adoption panels. That is where the curriculum will be turned.
