A few years ago, I was hospitalized for several days with a kidney infection (pyelonephritis). That was not fun.
I’m not promiscuous and I have very good personal hygiene but, for some reason, I’ve always been susceptible to UTI’s, kidney infections and have had kidney stones. Even when I was young. I have no idea why.
That being said, I can’t muster much sympathy for Schumer.
I think I left out an important fact...the ER I worked at was an inner city ER mainly patronized by the area’s less prosperous and less well educated.That’s the extent of my experience...if I had worked in a suburban (or rural) ER perhaps my view would have been different.
