I agree. But if he gets to the "nothing there" point "going easy," then the conclusion lacks what I called "street cred." Of course Comey was going to decline to prosecute Hillary, no matter what she did. His conclusion is flat not credible. Trump doesn't want a similarly tainted conclusion from whoever/whatever is dealing with him being framed.
