My sense is that nearly all or maybe literally all of that action, back and forth, is routine, mostly unchanged from Obama admin. I doubt that amount of FISA action would be generated against deep state.
Ponder this. If you thought a judge assigned to FISC was a foreign agent, would you get a warrant? LOL. Hell no!! Same goes if you suspect a person inside the DOJ side of the FISA process. I don't know how compartmented that work is, but if not compartmented, then you would avoid the risk of tipping off the target.
