I thought it was very weird that Comey spent 2 mins saying that they would not prosecute Hillary and then delivering information on what they found that should have destroyed her candidacy immediately. Particularly the point that they felt that she had brain damage. So the jury is still out on him
When Comey told Brett Bair (more than once) that he knew no one was going to prosecute Hillary I started yelling at the TV, “ask him who TOLD him they weren’t going to prosecute”!
My guess after reading every S/P text is Comey was told DOJ would not prosecute so he did what he could. The texts messages make clear the FBI knew the DOJ was totally politicised. They loathed Eric Holder.
