People here did class action lawsuits against Frontier, for a few years. Frontier got $ from gov to upgrade rural internet and they decided not to here, not enough “customers”.
Finally they did it under extreme pressure.
Saw that when I researched them. Lots of FCC complaints. They are liars and thieves.
I believe POTUS has ordered a push for real rural connectivity. We were asked to write recommendation letters for the small phone company in January and they received approval for the build-out in March.
We are in a hole. We are 1/4 mile on all sides from alternate, good service. The company with the grant is already only 1/8 mile from us in one direction. There is 1 cell tower within 15 miles one direction and 8 miles another. We were promised fiber over 10 years ago.
