Maybe the President saw something that might be useful to him. Maybe the guy is not that competent? Maybe he's easily manipulated? Maybe? In other words, you have the truly evil and the truly good. In between there is the rest, who have good qualities and bad qualities. I think that a man like Donald Trump does not get where he is without being able to read people.
