Mentality and experiences of pregnant mother can affect the baby both physically and mentally. Also father and mother at time of conception.
Curses and whatnot may have some negative influence; but (again, imho) most of the demoniac entities etc that people may believe in and try to harness either don’t really exist, or not in the way that the occultists imagine, and any such beings certainly are not under the control of the likes of the occultists.
And, any embodied soul (ie person) can become free of whatever bad influences, from whatever source, if they take the right path to become free. May not be easy, but it is definitely possible, just as it may be difficult, but not impossible, to get free of any kind of bad upbringing.
