Agreed LJ. I have observed you post that you don’t see TV and movies much. (Noted because I am same) But, Casablanca is one of the few I actually have owned. I believe I love it partially because it has a message of choosing carefully when to sacrifice for the greater good. My husband does not get a thing from the movie and he is a good man so not everyone cares for it. But, it’s worth the view when life slows down.

It is the best movie ever made, IMHO. Gone With the Wind was about a selfish Scarlett, Casablanca is about fighting the Devil, One person at a time, and survival whilst doing it...and about Love....
