McDonalds-- Black teenager runs into McDonalds with a letter from a college he applied to and hands it to the manager. The manager gathers the whole staff around as he opens and reads it (can the applicant not read?), leaving the cars in the drive through waiting for their burgers and fries. Everyone waits in suspense as he opens it and they find out he is accepted and everyone cheers. But what if he's rejected, and totally humiliated in front of the whole staff?
So what ads irritate you?
Most of the Liberty Insurance commercials. What I find most funny is Liberty and others pushing roadside assistance, i.e. changing a flat tire. We have truly raised a generation of Snowflakes if the they can’t even master changing a flat tire.
If I had called my father to come help change a flat tire he would have hung the phone up on me and laughed.
I also am getting burned out on The General Insurance commercials and also the pushing of burial insurance, that is a real downer to watch.
Dr. Pepper ads with the “Fruitcake” guy on the tiny pony.

There has never been a commercial more annoying than those we are inundated with during political campaigns. I’m of the opinion that, Hillary’s ads attacking Trump turned everybody off. But, all political ads are super-annoying and insulting to our intelligence.
All the commercials when both blacks and whites are in them and they ALWAYS make the whites look like the incompetent, unsuccessful buffoons who don’t know anything and always make the wrong choices. And , of course, the black couples/families are portrayed as the opposite.

There used to be a local Chevrolet dealer whose son made pretty good commercials.
He would have season/holiday themed ads. Sometimes he would dress as a clown, rubber nose and all.
His thing was advertising Chevettes for $49 down and $129/month.
Then
BUT WAIT! YOU WANTED A TRUCK!
NO PROBLEM!
Then the S10 for the same price.
He once ran an any trade welcome ad that had people pushing rustbuckets onto the lot and wreckers towing total junk heaps in while he handed out money to them.
His ads were always humorous and he didn’t take himself seriously.
Now there is a dealer in Roanoke, VA trying the same schtick but he feels he has to SCREAM EVERY WORD OVER AND OVER.
Not content to make himself look like a doofus he has his daughter on every commercial and SHE SCREAMS TOO.
His commercials start in late prime time and run overnight.
I....Will...Never...Buy...A...Car...From...Him.
His commercials infuriate that much.
The worst ad ever turned into a greatest ad for us.
The commercial where the black woman is throwing all of a wimpy white guy’s things out a window as he stands there watching and not even trying to catch anything.
I hate the two Sonic dufuses.
I DID love all the E*Trade babies, though! What idiot changed that genius idea?! Now they are forgettable.
The mere fact that so many here (including me) have mentioned the commercials by name shows the commercials ARE WORKING!

One that makes me crazy, though, is the Skippy one where the kid is dipping stuff directly into the jar. Uh, is he going to eat the whole jar? Cuz, no one else should be. It just grosses me out.
Hate all of the Liberty insurance ones. When you sign up for auto insurance, you choose what coverage you want. smh
Cannot stand any Progressive or Geico ads. Automatic remote change.
I don’t watch TeeVee. Instead, I have a DVD player to watch shows without commercials.
The latest esurance with the woman wailing hugging her damaged bumper is pretty good. Theme song for it is ‘Love Hurts”.

I don’t watch ads. The only thing I watch in real time is the local news, and I mute those commercials. Anything else is recorded and the commercials get skipped over.
For years, I have MUTED that Sit ‘n’ Sleep commercial. “Or your mattress is freeeeeee”. Because his voice is so offensive, I will never, as long as I draw breath purchase anything from that guy. Ever. I’ve said it to family + friends too. It won’t happen.
