Lawdy. What a caboose.
Is 10 cents per bag reasonable? Doesn’t matter — that’s what the law specifies.
I agree. It would be interesting to see video of her behavior between the time she stole the utensils and when the police gently arrested her.
The price is the price. If you don’t want to pay the price don’t take the product.
Really? I followed the link and in the article is shows a picture of the friend. How is it her mother?
Yeah, what restaurant charges for dinnerware? Weird crap.
I’m not talking about plastic bags. And so you understand, .10 each is a greedy ripoff in my option.
Again, if 4 people go eat, ya think its reasonable to charge them $2.00 for a couple plastic forks? Really?
What does Waffle House they charge for their napkins???
Plastic utensils are a human right!
What does Waffle House charge for condiments on the table, such as salt and pepper? How much for ketchup? Napkins?

(I collect caps).
Waffle House has been here in the South for as long as I can remember (I’m 72) and there was never a problem with them until recently.
Well, if they’re charging for plastic forks, they must be charging for their take out bags.
Maybe they should charge for parking too!
I ate at one in Florida with hubby and it made me wonder, if they build a new waffle house do they send a team in to “distress” it and make it look old and worn?
