WTF is up with Waffle House?

They are open 24/7, you get served fairly quickly, and the food is better than a 24 hour McDonalds. We often stop at one when on the road heading to Florida.

I would guess that a lot of the "interesting" events occur during hours when Waffle House is your only choice.

I bet there is a cup of golden griddle grease used on every dish cooked. My eggs do the backstroke on the plate in the stuff. Yummy. Just use your toast to mop it up.

It's a must do when traveling with my Yankee relatives just to watch their discomfort.
