>> he’s in the EU under the thumb of Germany it seems. Him visiting first is that significant?<<

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

France will never stop jockeying with Germany for leadership of Europe. For years, Germany has been getting closer to Russia, especially their energy exports, while distancing from the U.S.

Hence, France spies an opportunity to fill a bit of a vacuum in terms of European relationships with the resurgent power of the USA.

Macron is pretty smart, though like all Western European leaders, it would seem, HE HAS NO CHILDREN. In my ideal world, people with no children would be ineligible for the high positions of leadership, for many reasons. Sigh.

I have no children! But not because they were not wanted! I wanted 12. Just could not have them. Very painful. It may be how you say, but no one ever knows. It’s very painful for some of us to never have had children. I know it is for me. I had no chance to conceive.
