All this history of French/America military history independence is a reminder to Macome to keep France independent and free. How his ancestors like ours fought for that freedom. Don’t give in to Germany-Markel(the seed of Hitler) now.
You won two world wars don’t surrender without a fight.
My guess is when Markel comes she will be given an ultimatum. TRump holds the right cards. ( All Four of them).
She too has an opportunity to be free and sovereign!
I also think our First Lady has the class to overcome any obstacles encountered in her role. That said, historically there is no love lost between her home area and Germany. I suspect she may enjoy seeing Merkel taken down off her authoritative high horse. We won’t see it because she is manners personified. But, it could be another “pussy bow moment.”
