Thinking time stream, I can understand that they would be supporting letting him loose AFTER he’d gathered enough information on them to scare them silly. The problem is the beginning. If he came in on a mission, as implied by Q, then he needed enough freedom to get blackmail material for later coercion. But he certainly brought his family into the party quickly, and he certainly spread his “very valuable services???” to the other congress critters quickly. Perhaps he was just a fantastic BS artist. After all, he WAS a used car salesman. And once he had the first blackmail info, it might well snowball quickly as one congress person recommended him to the next.
I just hope that the Repubs in congress who have now seen how joint information can be mishandled by the other side will separate out their private info so that they can’t be blackmailed, too.
You know the maxim people quote, something like “don’t attribute to malice what you can attribute to stupidity” or words to that effect.
In the case of the Awans, DWS and the other (ten or eleven?) Dem congressvermin who signed a letter to be allowed to hire the Awans, could not be THAT stupid. Couldn’t be. Of course DWS was covering her okole big time once it became unraveled. But DWS and the other Dems, or most of them, HAD to have known that info was making its way to Paki. Had to have. Even if they were heroin addicts they would have had to know something was very, very fishy.
Did the congressvermin do it just for money, or for some other reason (as well)?
