Oh crap. Good catch, Vendome.

So... did anything come of this lawsuit? Anyone know?

I don’t know why PJ Media posted a really old article today.

That IS strange. Looks like a lot of us missed the date. ;-)

Unless it's a typo?

The DOJ/True The Vote settled the suit earlier this year.

Thank you for that link. Doesn’t really feel satisfying to “settle” over this truly outrageous scandal. Sounds like Lois Lerner, et al got off scot-free overall. :-(

Try to learn the difference between a Civil Action and a criminal complaint.

That will help you figure out when the DOJ is involved and when it isn’t.

“Seriously......from 2013?

That’s when it was filed. The case was settled this year, January 19th, 2018.

A consent decree giving True the Vote ‘equitable relief’. Meaning ‘no money’. Just a slap on the hand for the IRS.

“I hope Lois pays.”

She won’t. It was a civil action rather than a criminal complaint. And the DC US District Court rejected With Prejudice the monetary claims filed by True the Vote.

It was already investigated by TIGTA, the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, and they didn’t make a criminal referral.

Q followers have the thinnest skin, and once they’re nose is out of joint, abusive ad hominem is their only recourse.

Your post is par for the course.

Tell Tom Fitton. Conservatives like and trust him—which is more than can be said for the Lois Lerner apologists.

“Nice to see someone held PERSONALLY responsible for abusing their office”.........

Lerner must be considered one of the “little people” since she got “served”..........Then there is Hitlary Clinton who seems to be exempt and above the law.

When, oh when, will someone get off their ass and call her to the carpet of justice? She needs public humiliation and prison time before she slips down to meet the devil once she has croaked.

“Sessions wouldn’t help”

I’m sure Jeff would have given her a heads up if he knew she was about to be served.

I’m sure that many conservatives would chip in a few bucks for a barrage of lawsuits against her.
