If Nunes had the info he needs, he could and would smoke the Justice Department/FBI and their drag along “investigation” of themselves.
The DoJ is moving along as quickly as they can given all the stuff they have to do, and Congress doing the “finger wagging, hurry up” stuff is merely for public relations. So when the indictment and arrests start happening, the Fake News and Dems can’t scream that the DoJ and FBI are doing Evil Drumpf’s bidding. The DoJ and FBI can say “we had to do these investigations, Congress - your duly elected representatives - made us!”
It’s all showmanship.
