This 4/19 article from Bloomberg makes it pretty clear that Palantir is the Bridge: Palantir knows everything about you

I think that's (real) good - except I'd change to 'Palantir is a Bridge'. Except, of course, in this case, it could be THE bridge, too ... TBD ;)

'Palantir is a Bridge'

I've seen that sentiment spread through these threads a LOT. However, if you review the full set of definitions of "bridge," I am not quite sure which of them folks are applying to Palantir.

If I was forced to choose one word to describe Palantir, "bridge" certainly wouldn't be in the running. My one-word choice for a functional description would be "synthesizer."

If you look at what Palantir (and other similar products) does functionally, is it provides a synthesized view of target sets (which can then be analyzed in a number of ways).

I am interested in understanding which definition of "bridge" is being applied to Palantir.
