I’m just a simple homeowner trying to save a few bucks with DYI. I guess I’m getting too old to do everything I used to.
LD 50 is the value at which 50% of those that experience it will die, so 50% of the people who fall from a height of 8 feet die from it.
More often you see it with respect to chemical exposure, like an LD 50 of a chemical being Xmg/kg body weight.
