Sure, who keeps their belt snugly around their waist at all times when they are seated? Although this as a reason wouldn’t have been in the top ten in my mind. Maybe it will be easier to get exit row seating over the wing now.

I am pretty sure that it is now the rule, on SW, to keep the belt on at all times. That is my experience anyway, at least on short flights. But, I should probably check to be sure. (And, this was a longer flight than I ever use to fly SW.)

Maybe she did maybe she didn’t but I’m thinking I can see how the pressure at your window could suck you up and out regardless of whether the belt was in place.
