I wonder how quickly a rod of God would would reach terminal velocity. It’s possible that it could be launched from sea level and still hit at terminal velocity.
Just thinkin’ that we may not need a roG to shake that mountain just a little bit.
if something is aerodynamic it may never reach “terminal velocity”
terminal velocity is when the force of drag in this case Air resistance is overcome the force of gravity, also launching from the ground reduces the element of surprise as the the missile is “seen” by radar on the way up.
