Yes, of course, But I don't think Mueller has laid much of a legal minefield. All the pressure has been political band that based on strained imagination and ludicrous legal theories. I think Rucy can effectively pressure and negotiate an orderly wind down. This signal might even have been prearranged with Mueller, "run hard until I signal you to stop - you'll know the signal when it comes" sort of message before Mueller was appointed.

Everything I've seen has been settled in civil court. Mueller is an over-zealous prosecutor and investigator. He casre less about hitting the right target than about taking down A target.

I hope it's clear I'm not defending Mueller - but I don't know what crimes he can be charged with.
