I wasn’t shocked,I was annoyed.
The “yellow fever” comment and the “no visible income” insinuation are what ticked me off.
I’ve had a wonderful Asian DIL for almost 25 years and I found the comments insulting.

I sincerely apologize.
I was trying to describe my love for Asian ladies in the fewest words possible, and fell back on vulgar men’s room talk and exaggeration.
I’m still trying to come to grips with my preference for these girls. I was just trying to say that I feel an uncontrollable attraction to them, and their fastidiousness with money is an added bonus!
I blame it on Bangkok.
