Google is developing a new deep learning system that can pick out a single voice from a crowd of people

This is still in development. Right now it is geared for their smart speakers or other products/services. The writer does note the potential privacy issues if used for other purposes.

Man, that’s nothing new! I could hear my sisters shrill voice in a crowd of thousands like she was the only one in the room!

No matter how deep in the zone I was, she could break my concentration no matter how loud the noise!

But seriously and huge, this type of advanced snooping can only be financed with gov $$ to develop the technology(ies)

Here’s hoping the POTUS can bury the DS in their own mineshaft so the only way out is to fig their way into hell.
