Here’s the thing you mock your sister for likely just being observant and having the common sense to look up at the sky. Its not rocket science.
Mr.GG2 is a former multi engine pilot as in small commercial jets and cargo jets. He worked at Lockheed building 747’s. He’s also familiar with military aircraft. He says there is no way a jet contrail sticks around for hours on end becoming wider and wider. There is no humidity or atmospheric pressure that makes that happen. Jet planes don’t fly around at 8,000 -10,000 ft in erratic criss cross patterns. As far as I know there are no slow motion dog fights going on over Lilburn, GA. :-)
