Roper brand in appliances are analog and repairable (I’ve repaired two dryers and a washer, and a dishwasher), and are often on the ‘used appliances’ list. Buy one, open it up, and see just how simple these things really are! Older model Whirlpool fridges are repairable and last much longer than the new ‘on demand’ induction ditties.

Thank you for the Roper name. I see they are Whirlpool. Will look it up, later. Do you know what type of lid lock it has? My current one is a magnet I removed and taped down so the machine thinks the lid is closed. I know how to jump the plug-in type that lurks behind the top panel of some models.

My GE analog washer is 5 years old and I use it in my business, so it gets worked hard. My appliance source is great about getting whatever I want. They do all their own servicing and offer extended warranties. My repairman is like a member of the family!

What is an induction fridge? I’ve seen induction range-top burners.

DH is expert on changing machines for my purposes. Dryers are his specialty.
