***Computer can read our minds.

A little over a year ago, I was browsing at an antiques/boutique business, and overheard two Moms talking.

One said she thought it was cute how her son liked to watch her vacuum with her Miele vacuum, and often offered to help. Then she heard him talking to the vacuum. She thought that was kind of creepy, so put the vacuum away, and told him she would buy him a little one just his size.

She said, he started crying, and said he only wanted her vacuum because it talked to him. She said she ditched the vacuum.

I thought about how there are ranges of sound children could here, but adults can’t. Creeped me out.

Maybe even subliminal messaging in children’s programming. Wasn’t there a study that showed Sesame Street actually shortened toddler’ attention spans?
