So very sorry about your loss, jeremiah. I call it fur withdrawal. One old-fashioned remedy is to cover yourself with new kitten fur or older rescue cat fur. Won’t take the place of a beloved, but it takes your mind off the loss. And gives a furball a loving home.
Thank you. I’m just so used to having them around; they left one after another in the last year and a half, they got old.
I don’t think I’ll get anohter one; I don’t want to have to be too old myself to take care of elderly cats.
There are lots of birds around so I will make new friends....
Actually my solace is that for the soul there is never birth nor death, nor, having once been, does he ever cease to be.
So they are all continuing on their journeys!
