I mixed ammonia and bleach one time when I was cleaning. Suddenly I couldn’t breathe. I called the ER, was told to sit outside, but if it got worse, there was nothing they could do for me. I remember sitting there thinking I didn’t want to die from cleaning house.
Nasty experience.
I mixed ammonia and bleach once. We were cleaning after a restaurant fire, I was about 15. I started wondering why it was smoking and then I realized it had eaten through the plastic container and was getting on my clothes. The other guys had a good laugh. Never did that again.
