About 5 years ago, I listened to a now 20-year old interview of Malachi Martin with a Canadian journalist, Bernard Janzen, where Martin describes the Vatican being blackmailed to go along the globalist agenda by threatening to deny the Church access to the international banking system. I'm not sure when this occurred.

This blackmail included coercion: if the Church wanted to continue to move funds around the world to support its missionary, educational, medical and various other charitable works, she would have to abandon traditional Catholic teaching on subjects like homosexuality, the environment, abortion, human sexuality in general, etc.

It actually surprises me that no one has made the connection between what's happening now [Bergoglio] and Martin's various semi-fictional novels that described much of it 20-25 years ago.
