The Breakfast Club was an awful movie. Like a kiddie version of The Big Chill, a bunch of whiners sitting around over-analyzing their boring lives. Blech.

I think the very first CD I ever bought was the soundtrack to "The Big Chill".
(A roommate bought a portable CD player about the time the movie came out.)
The teacher who was supervising them and the janitor had their number. They were all being punished for being brats and little thugs in any case. Boo hoo!!
Exactly...kiddy version of Big Chill but without caring about any of the characters.
