That’s not the picture of the ring that was analyzed when freepers first noticed it. It’s in the archive somewhere. Take my word for it was definitely a ring with Islamic roots.

I second that, I remember when that first came out.
I made a stink at the time about the ring. The author of the book took my information and ran with it and did a great job. I would encourage everyone to read his book if they somehow see some fuzzy arabic writing on it. The truth is way more interesting and more arresting that the fuzzy images given to us by the WND article.
