Just guessing here on all of that...
I’m thinking some sort of sabotage, either by somehow gaining control of the craft remotely, damaging or altering some control systems in a way that isn’t noticed, or physically setting a key component up to break in use.
I wonder of all of the crashes are on “fly by wire” craft.
I guess spoofing GPS data external of the plane is possible, but in a helicopter, you still should be able to be aware of your position relative to the ground. I think...
They were some posts days or weeks ago about the Clintons boeing the Chinese and the Russian diplomats getting kicked out of Seattle perhaps the person that posted it will direct you to it i’ll see if I can figure out what thread it was in. It was related to chips and navigation and how they can be spoofed and cause crashes like the recent military aircraft

There has been a rash of FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Array) which have been found to have backdoors.
