Thanks for additional advice, ‘Doc’. For sure I need something to thin the mucus. My chest has been so tight and coughs unproductive. Never had a chest cold this bad.

I had that for months. It ended me up in the hospital. It had been persistent for months and got worse and worse. It turned out to be an upper respitory tract infection. Treated with a five day antiobiotic, five days of some steroid thing, inhaler, and cough syrup with codeine.,
BAM, gone. Now I'm right as the mail. Go see doc and have him check for that kinda thing. That thing will lay you low, if you don't fix it.
