I have a theory about that, though I don't even read 8chan.
I betcha it's because they are relatively young and have to learn stuff that we old timers have already forgotten. We cut right through a lot of stuff cause we already know it. It's easer to then focus on the new information.
Just a theory. Don't get your panties in a twist, 8chan nerd spies. It's just the way it is.
