The problem is that Bredesen is a centrist Dem who is very well known in Tn having been a two term governor and two term Nashville mayor, and people basically like him trust him and think he’s pretty intelligent compared to Blackburn.

Bredesen is not a centrist. He’s a left-winger. Always has been.
